We are seeking an experienced financial analyst to support a sell-side equity research analyst who covers the retail/softlines sector. The selected candidate will conduct due diligence on covered companies, build and maintain financial models, contribute to writing and editing research reports; will also interact with company management as well as our internal sales force.

• BA/BS in Business, Econ, Accounting
• MBA, CFA or CPA preferred
• 1-2 years of related sell-side experience in either IB or Equity Research
• Extremely strong financial analysis, modeling, and Excel spreadsheet skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• FINRA licenses: 7 required; plus 86 and 87 strongly preferred
• Prior work experience in retail, consumer products industry, preferably softlines apparel sector extremely desirable.
